For The Curious
Jocelyn Combe is a Southern California native of (redacted) decades, and therefore possesses the usual complement of lazy colloquialisms. She did manage to pick up an Idaho twang during her two-and-a-half years at Ricks College (now Brigham Young University-Idaho), where she also studied art and illustration. She finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Illustration at Whittier College in 2004, and has been trying to pay off her student loans ever since. (Probably not the wisest thing to add classes at Mt. Sierra College and The Pasadena Art Center to that load, but she’s never been one to ignore sparkly brochures.)
Jocelyn currently juggles several art-related jobs online and in the greater L.A. area. Aside from her role as personal assistant to local artist Bradford J. Salamon, until June 2019 she was also the officially unofficial Art Director for the Wilson High School drama department in El Sereno, California. Seeing no need for sleep or a social life, she also supplements her income by taking online commissions via DeviantArt, Tumblr and Derpibooru, as well as the odd (or very odd) word-of-mouth gig. Jocelyn someday hopes to earn enough to buy an inflatable dragon for her front yard. She also hopes someday to have a front yard.
